Mulan from Disney

Today, I was babysitting two kids (I do that every day of the week after school ends) and they wanted to watch Mulan.

I think everyone knows Disney, with it's castle, it's fairies AND Mickey Mouse!

Inspired from a chinese legend, Mulan is the story of a girl who goes to war in her father's stead because he is ill and old.However, women are not allowed on the combat field, and so she has to disguise herself as a man to join the other soldiers against the Huns.

The story told by Disney is not really accurate, but it is Disney. Nothing we can do about that! For those looking fora a realistic movie, there is one. It's called Mulan (duh!) and was produced by the mainland (I differentiate Mainland China from HK and Taiwan).

Anyway, back to our animated movie created by Disney. Though the story has been twisted around, I think the music saves everything, as well as Mushu, the lilttle dragon that's supposed to protect Mulan...
