Hayao Miazaki's works

Hayao Miazaki is a genius! He directed many of japanese animated movies such as Princess Mononoke, or Spirited Away for Ghilbi Studio.

I found this drawing on internet. It condenses most of Miazaki's greatest work and I had fun trying to match the drawing's etails to a movie:

- Spirited Away (Chihiro and the dragon on the front)

- Tonari no Totoro (Totoro and his umbrella in the sky)

- Nausicaa (the Omu in the lake)

- Mononoke Hime (San, the wolves and the mononokes on the riverbank)

- Ponyo (the boy and little ponyo swimming in the right corner)

- Laputa (the flying castle in hte upper left corner)

- Howl's moving Castle (the weird-looking castle in the upper left side of the drawing)

- Whisper of the Heart (the violin player)

- The Cat's Return ( the cat on ther riverbank that is wearing a suit and talking to the dragon)

- Kiki's delivery service (the girl flying on a broomstick)

- Arietty (the tiny tiny little girl in red sitting on a rock and listening to the violin)

- Pompoko (the big racoon)
